Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Timothy J. McReath attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an undergraduate, and after three years of study, was accepted into Marquette Dental School. Upon graduating from Marquette Dental School in 1991, he was accepted into their two-year orthodontic graduate program to complete his advanced specialty training. In 1993, he earned his Master of Science degree along with his certification as a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Marquette.
Since the completion of his specialty training in 1993, Dr. McReath has practiced orthodontics in two locations to better accommodate the needs of patients in the area. Most recently, in 2010 he added a third location in Prairie du Sac for more convenience. There has been an amazing evolution in orthodontic technology since he first started practicing. Dr. McReath now treats patients with fewer extractions and rapid palatal expanders and a decreased need for surgery. Treatment times have shortened, and it takes a fewer number of appointments to complete treatment.
Dr. McReath's goal is to provide the highest quality orthodontic treatment for adults and children in a caring and courteous environment. Dr. McReath and his team strive to create beautiful smiles along with lasting friendships. He is also dedicated to attending continuing education courses to provide excellence in the most technically advanced treatment possible.
In practice for over 20 years, Dr. McReath stays abreast of the latest technological advances in orthodontics with active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, the Sauk-Juneau-Adams Dental Society and the Wisconsin Orthodontic Study Club. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors which includes hunting, fishing, flying and open-water diving and spending time with his family.
Meet Our Staff
Sue has worked for Dr. McReath for over twenty years with the first ten years as a clinical assistant and a treatment coordinator for eight years, she has taken on the roll of being Office Manager.
Sue has been married to Ron for over 31 years and has a daughter, Rebecca, who is a Registered Nurse in Milwaukee and married to Nick, a son, Ryan, who is a Deputy Sheriff and married to Kourtney and two granddaughters, Seanna and angel Sophia. She fulfilled her dream in the fall of 2013 and started a hobby farm called "Fly Acres." She now has a horse, a miniature horse, one miniature donkey, seven goats, two potbellied pigs, ten cats and two dogs.
Jennifer is married to Kirk and they have two children, Quintin and Haily and one grandson, Cy. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family which includes playing board and card games. Jennifer LOVES 80's rock and pop music!
Working to help others has always been a passion for Kim so helping to improve the smiles of others makes her excited to come to work every day. Watching the transformations of the patients has been one of Kim's favorite parts of working here.
Kim has grown up in Portage, but now lives in Wisconsin Dells. She lives with her husband, Kevin and their 2 sons Kaden and Kyzer. She enjoys spending her free time watching Kaden play hockey and soccer and Kyzer learning new and exciting things. Besides spending time with family, Kim enjoys crafts and any outdoor activity.
Sam enjoys working for Dr. McReath and getting to know each patient. She enjoys seeing their progress throughout treatment and being a part of making them happy through creating a beautiful smile. She feels lucky to work at a place when her job is both fun and rewarding.
Sam lives in the country with her fiancé, daughter and her two dogs. Sam enjoys doing any type of activity outdoors especially fishing, hunting, and riding and racing four-wheelers. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Megan was also a past patient of Dr. McReath and enjoys working for the person who was responsible for her smile transformation. Megan has spent multiple years in orthodontics but was excited to join Team McReath to work in the community where she was born and raised.
Megan currently lives in Portage with two children, Teddy and Tenley

I live in Baraboo and I am married to Rich and we have two children, Allisyn and Austin. I have two dogs, Theo and Quill and two cats, Griffin and Luna. In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends.
